Crawl under Swett Lodge, drill hole through subfloor, 2x4 bottom wall stringer into stud space by kitchen window, shove up good length yellow 2 12w/ground Romex wire.  Outside back porch remove siding piece above new blue plastic junction box location, Gertie's tailgate truss rod ('bout 3.5 feet, hooked one end) fish Romex,
return house under, leave stud space exit loose wire loop (photo deep center), center beam neatly wire staple Romex, wire staple along joist (foreground),
into conduit through perimeter joist into removable cover elbow, to circuit/meter box, wire to breaker.
Accept stand by dental appointment Thursday morn: inspectors come, go.  No word by one or so, call: code compliant work closes/fulfills permit.  Yippee - no city regulator breath down neck worry!  Continue code compliant work; less inspection, less hassle.
Inspection complete, reconnect sub code garage wire (as found hanging mid air 'tween house/garage, eventually per code will run through underground house/garage utilities connector pipe) at new blue junction box next kitchen window, leave box cover hang one side, Big Gulp plastic cup moisture protect: good to go.  Held off water heater wire; finally remove heater, jack house reduce weight; realize can work around PVC conduit wire pathway now it's in place - glad it's summer.  Gotta find shorty forty heater.

      Squash grow well (lip gloss tube scale);
last beets dry front year's take dried jarred rutabaga/turnip.  Beets stain: separate.  Perhaps not surprisingly dry 'pig food' baggie chips complement cheap beer: won't last long.
First crop harvest/store, couple mornings turn soil, create new row mounds: second crop ready.  Note corn tassle; row Russian kale left; melon, couple kohlrabi center.
     Lumber yard overload; use materials, kitchen continue Swett Lodge raise support walls.

Loft wall header 4x4: wall lean stud, rest one end 4x4 atop; second stud raise 4x4; kick jam stud underneath.
Vertical level stud, position header, 2 ton jack header, install remainder studs.
Plenty error room, feel it coming: lose control header/stud, crashes lower pane west front room window.  Spoke wag: 'fix window, now break 'em'.  No complaint: manageable if job's largest cost.
Lean 'lumberyard' reorganize: wet ahead.  Nice stack 4x4 shoring; torn apart gargantuan 16'x15" freebie beam contributes appreciable dimensional perimeter joist, replacement joist, joist end sandwich stack: right Swett Lodge ready.
     Compulsive, answer free door, shower Craigslist ad: need not interior doors; storm door not 'sposed to fit Swett Lodge, does; already have doorless corner shower stall.  Keep new (here upside down - for garage? not sure: currently thinking traditional Swett Lodge tub/shower) doored stall, storm door; St. Vinnie's pickup haul unwanted interior doors, corner shower, couple other items.  Scavenger's life.
     Coming week: month absence prep.  Register Gertie, mega laundry load, two dentist visits complete multiple surface fill receding gums exposed dentin, plant second crop, repair broken window (!), batten Swett Lodge hatches, pack.  Travels return, raise Swett Lodge ready, expect accomplish little house wise trip prior, sign off here until mid September.  Hope spend old Wisconsin friends, mom quality time; attend mom's 90th fete; attempt high point pictorial travel log: don't expect much - historically poor track record.  'Til then be well, god bless, peace.
